Kayakoy Camel Trekking

Adults and children have the opportunity to enjoy the traditional ride by specially-trained and peaceful camels. After a brief history lesson about the Kayakoy village (Ghost Town) we will begin our journey from our farm. During Kayakoy camel trekking tour we will ride along narrow paths flanked by green meadows, traditional village houses, numerous wells, fields and gardens. During a short stop near the old cemetery our guide will tell you about the religion of Islam and Muslim temples - mosques. Also our guide will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may ask during our Kayakoy camel trek adventure. After another short trek we will stop for Gozleme (Turkish traditional pancake), drink Turkish tea or ayran (beverage of yogurt mixed with cold water) near the abandoned Greek houses for no extra charge.
